Job summary

A construction services company is seeking a Site Engineer in Aberdeenshire to deliver site engineering control, particularly in heavy civil engineering projects like earthworks and drainage. Ideal candidates will communicate well, take ownership of tasks, and possess a full driving license as well as a CSCS card.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate safe systems of work clearly.
• Must be independent and take ownership of tasks.
• Should have strong team collaboration skills.
• Driving licence and CSCS card required.
• Understanding of environmental awareness essential.
• Competence with survey equipment necessary.
• Ability to interpret drawings and tolerances demanded.
• Knowledge of contract documents required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver site engineering control and support implementation of works.
• Monitor and report progress of site works.
• Prepare Task Briefing Sheets for safety protocols.
• Carry out setting out from established control.
• Produce accurate site records including quality check sheets.
