Job summary

A construction company is seeking a Site Engineer for an immediate start in Birmingham on a large infrastructure project. Responsibilities include managing QA documents, setting out using GPS, and ensuring compliance with drawings. The ideal candidate should have experience in groundworks and excellent communication skills. A vehicle and fuel card will be provided.

• Carry out ITPs, RFIs, TQs, etc.
• Maintain daily site diary.

Overview

Gortmore are looking for a Site Engineer for an Immediate start on a Large infrastructure project in the Birmingham area.

Responsibilities

• Previous experience of working on Civils projects, including Groundworks, drainage, service/ductwork installation, concrete, etc.
• Must have excellent knowledge of setting out using GPS and robotic EDM.
• Manage and ensure QA documents are completed correctly.
• Carry out ITPs, RFIs, TQs, etc.
• Competent in reading drawings and quantifying materials.
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to distribute project information to work colleagues.
• Ensure that works are being carried out to the latest drawings and documents.
• Work as part of a team in assisting site management with material, KPI’s, progress reports, etc.
• Maintain daily site diary.
• Have problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
• A Vehicle and Fuel Card will also be provided.
