Overview

Isla Rose is searching for site chemists on behalf of an established business in Walsall. The company specialises in waste management with multiple sites in the Midlands and Staffordshire.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for consignments of incoming waste and ensure the correct inspections take place
• Check paperwork, sample waste and ensure correct storage
• Ensure the safety of others on site and work closely with site management
• Waste inspections, sampling, processing and storage
• Ensure compliance paperwork and liaise with internal teams
• Working outside as required

• Experience within the hazardous waste sector
• Knowledge of HSG 51 and HSG 71 would be an advantage
