A prominent healthcare provider is seeking a Sister/Charge Nurse for the Acute Medical Unit on a permanent basis. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Acute Medical Unit Band 7 team on a permanent basis. In 2026 this job will include rotation onto nights when our larger unit is established.

We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to develop as a leader with our senior nursing team on the Acute Medical Unit and help us establish the AMU of the future.

There has never been a better time to join our team with our transformation creating and leading one of the largest AMUs in the country. Helping us to shape this service in conjunction with SDEC and ensuring a positive first 72 hour patient journey.

Base Location: Poole Hospital This base will change to Royal Bournemouth Hospital in 2026.

Any other changes unrelated to this, will be handled in line with Trust/National terms and conditions.
