A leading NHS trust in Camden Town is seeking experienced Band 6 Nurses who are chemotherapy competent. The role involves providing outstanding patient care, mentoring staff, and participating in clinical education. We have vacancies for Band 6 Nurses who are already experienced and Chemotherapy competent. We are a nurse led service, providing chemotherapy, supportive therapies and apheresis to patients with Haemato-Oncology and Solid Cancer.
On our spacious Cancer Treatment Unit you will be able to rotate between the chemotherapy delivery area and supportive area.
You will receive excellent training and development, and the opportunity to progress within your profession. We actively encourage our nurses and allied health professionals to take part in research projects and to work towards Masters and PhDs, providing dedicated support.
Our nurses work a variety of day shifts and the unit is primarily open Monday - Friday with smaller numbers of patients treated at the weekends. We are able to offer posts to both full time and part time staff.
To provide the highest standard of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualized, holistic patient care in conjunction with the inter-professional team.
The post holder may be asked to engage in clinic-related activities and to support ongoing improvement within the unit.
