Simmons Adaptive – Commercial Technology Consultant – London, England, UK

Simmons & Simmons Adaptive provides flexible resourcing solutions to meet the changing demands of the marketplace. As a commercial and technology contracts consultant you will be fully supported by the Simmons & Simmons team with a sponsoring Partner and a client team you will be encouraged to engage with regularly. You will have access to the firm’s resources and know‑how and the opportunity to be involved in training and development at the firm.

Main purpose of the role

We are seeking a consultant lawyer to assist one of our asset management clients with commercial and technology contracts for a 3‑6 month assignment beginning as soon as possible. This will be a full‑time role with 5 days per week in the office in London.

Person specification
  • Have previous experience in commercial and technology contracts.
  • Have experience working in a hedge fund asset manager or in financial services more generally.
  • Have strong project management skills.
  • Be comfortable with data and process design.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and can communicate complex analysis in a clear and concise manner.
  • Work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines.
  • Work autonomously but can also collaborate as part of the wider team.
  • Hold the relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
