Job description

The Shift Team Leader reports to the Extrusion Manager and oversees all operational activities during their shift. This role ensures production efficiency, team productivity, and compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards, and quality expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise up to 20 production operators to maintain productivity and quality.
  • Ensure production activities align with the production plan, procedures, and standards.
  • Promote a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety rules and housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure compliance with H.B. Fuller's Quality and HSE policies, internal procedures, and work instructions.
  • Execute the production plan and ensure accurate completion of SAP transactions.
  • Conduct performance reviews, return‑to‑work meetings, and investigations related to quality or performance issues.
  • Support operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with management to resolve operational challenges promptly.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing.
  • Previous experience as a Production Operator.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.

Preferred Requirements
