A global nutrition company based in Liverpool is seeking a Site Operative to ensure operational efficiency and hygiene at the Seaforth site. Responsibilities include weighing vehicles, assisting with milling operations, and conducting quality checks. Ideal candidates will have a strong secondary education in Maths and English and experience in a manufacturing role. An opportunity has arisen for a Site Operative at our Seaforth, Liverpool site. This role is a multi-skilled position and will require the candidate to work across a multitude of site functions. The primary focus of the role is to maintain operational performance and hygiene standards to the maximum at all times. To run the weighbridge function, weighing in wheat lorries and weighing out of flour lorries. During out-of-hours operation, to assist in the control and operation of the Milling plant from wheat intake to finished product transfer, using the systems and equipment to manufacture the products to the quality required to meet the company and customer needs. The role also covers out-of-hours customer support and remote weighbridge assistance to other ADM Milling locations. The candidate will also need to assist in the QA function of the site where necessary, on occasion testing incoming wheat and outgoing flour as well as generating QA delivery certificates. This role incorporates shift working over an 8 day rotational cycle, operating a continental 4 on 4 off rota and the candidate will work a 2x 12hr day shift, 2x 12hr night shift following by 4x days off. Within the Site Operative Team holiday cover will be provided internally.
