Qualifications

  • Experience in managing or working in a warehouse or distribution environment is essential.
  • Good people management skills with the ability to manage and motivate others.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT literate with knowledge of WMS systems.
  • Ability to report on operational performance information.
  • Focused on always delivering excellent service to all customers.
  • Able to cope with change and manage own workload and priorities.
  • Able to deliver results and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant Transport legislation, H&S, HR legislation and good practice.
  • Possession of the following is essential: FLT Counterbalance Licence.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise operational aspects of the warehouse operation.
  • Monitor stock accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Promote a safety-first culture within the team.
  • Guide and train the operational team.
  • Ensure sufficient skilled resources are in place.
