A prominent chemical manufacturer located in West Yorkshire is seeking a SHE Manager to enhance safety standards and implement SHE processes across their manufacturing site. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, with knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, alongside excellent communication and organizational skills. This role offers a competitive salary of £45-55k, a discretionary annual bonus, and 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within industrial manufacturing, preferably chemical.
• Ability to manage ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards.
• Confident communication skills for managing stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Improve and influence behavioral safety across the site.
• Ensure SHE processes are adhered to on a daily basis.
• Manage implementation of SHE legislation and audits.
• Conduct thorough accident investigations and implement preventative measures.
• Coordinate site-wide H&S training plans and risk assessments.
• Produce and coordinate annual SHE action plans.
