A leading energy infrastructure company in the UK is looking for a SHE Advisor to support Strategic Infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and contributing towards a sustainable energy transition. Applicants should have extensive knowledge in HSE legislation and experience in construction environments. This hybrid role offers flexibility and a competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £68,000, along with various employee benefits.
New Role - Permanent - UK Eastern Geography

As SHE Advisor you will provide Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) support to Strategic Infrastructure projects. You will coach, advise, train, motivate, inspire and encourage managers, staff and contractors to deliver legislative compliance and promote continuous improvement.
Helping to create, achieve and sustain world class Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) performance, you will support the effective implementation, coordination, execution and monitoring of all aspects of Quality Assurance, ensuring compliance with all relevant ISO standards, NG policies, procedures, specifications, and wider National Grid management systems.
As an expert in HSE you will and provide specialist advice on CDM, Environmental Management, legislation and industry standards.
You will support Strategic Infrastructure in the development and implementation of sustainable working solutions, with an aim to reduce the carbon footprint of the business and projects, supporting the energy transition and corporate plans towards net zero.
This role hybrid based across the UK and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home.
Our most mature project is Eastern Green Link 5 which is based toward the east of the UK therefore candidates located near to this geography would be advantageous.
Most work will likely be home based with more site visits likely as they head toward planned construction in 2030

A competitive salary between £55,000 - £68,000- dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
