Job summary

A leading global hedge fund in London is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to enhance its Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR) reporting framework. The candidate will own and improve data quality, control, and compliance across repo, securities lending, and margin lending activities. The role requires strong SFTR knowledge, data analysis skills, and stakeholder management. This is a 12-month, full-time contract, offering a daily rate of £700 - £800.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Change Manager within capital markets.
  • Strong knowledge of SFTR supporting reporting and data quality.
  • Hands-on with data analysis, including SQL and control testing.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve the SFTR reporting framework.
  • Manage day-to-day change and improvement requests.
  • Conduct data quality testing and root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with Technology to validate SFTR data sourcing.
  • Engage with trade repositories and regulators on inquiries.
