Job description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Operational Resilience to join our growing ServiceNow practice. This role will be responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions that enable organizations to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks while ensuring business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Design comprehensive ServiceNow IRM solutions spanning multiple modules including Risk Management, Policy and Compliance, Third-Party Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, and Operational Resilience
• Develop technical architecture blueprints, integration patterns, and solution roadmaps for complex enterprise environments
• Create detailed technical specifications, data models, and workflow designs that align with business requirements and industry best practices
• Lead architecture review sessions and provide technical guidance throughout the solution lifecycle

Client Engagement & Leadership

• Facilitate executive-level workshops to understand business drivers, risk appetite, and operational resilience requirements
• Present solution architectures and recommendations to C-level stakeholders and risk committees
• Serve as the primary technical advisor for IRM and Operational Resilience engagements
• Build trusted relationships with client IT and business stakeholders across risk, compliance, and operations functions

Technical Implementation Oversight

• Guide implementation teams through complex technical challenges and design decisions
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, security standards, and platform governance principles
• Oversee integration development with third‑party risk tools, security platforms, ERP systems, and monitoring solutions
• Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance throughout project delivery phases

Practice Development & Thought Leadership

• Contribute to the development of our ServiceNow IRM service offerings, methodologies, and accelerators
• Mentor and develop junior architects and technical consultants within the practice
• Stay current with ServiceNow platform evolution, IRM trends, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in industry events, client presentations, and thought leadership initiatives

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with sales teams during pre‑sales activities, solution demonstrations, and proposal development
• Collaborate with other practice areas (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps etc.) to design integrated ServiceNow solutions
• Partner with ServiceNow product teams and technology partners to influence product direction and capabilities

Required Qualifications

• ServiceNow Platform : 5+ years of hands‑on experience with ServiceNow platform development and administration
• IRM Modules : Deep expertise in ServiceNow IRM suite including Risk Management, Policy and Compliance Management, Third‑Party Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, and Audit Management

Technical Skills

• Operational Resilience : Understanding of operational resilience frameworks, business impact analysis, and continuity planning methodologies
• Integration Architecture : Proven experience designing and implementing complex integrations using REST / SOAP APIs, MID servers, and integration platforms
• Data Architecture : Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and master data management principles
• Advanced ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, etc.)
• ServiceNow Flow Designer and Integration Hub capabilities
• REST / SOAP web services development and consumption
• JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML / CSS for ServiceNow customizations
• Database design and SQL optimization
• Enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies
• Cloud architecture principles (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Certifications (Required)

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Risk and Compliance

Certifications (Preferred)

• ServiceNow Certified Master Architect
• CISSP, CISA, or other relevant security / risk management certifications
• TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks

Professional Experience

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture and implementation
• 3+ years of specific experience with ServiceNow IRM modules and operational resilience solutions
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale ServiceNow implementations for Fortune 500 organizations
• Experience in regulated industries (Financial Services, Healthcare, Energy, etc.) preferred
• Deep understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000, NIST)
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (SOX, PCI‑DSS, GDPR, Basel III, etc.)
• Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery planning
• Understanding of vendor risk management and third‑party risk assessment processes
