Overview

Service Manager / Service Operations Manager / Engineering Manager is required to join a world-leading HVAC Solutions provider.

The role will lead and manage a team of service engineers and admin staff, coordinate schedules, planned maintenance, and emergency call-outs, while ensuring EHS protocols are met within the HVAC service space, including smoke ventilation, M&E Building Services or facilities management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of service engineers and admin staff
  • Coordinate schedules, planned maintenance, and emergency call-outs; ensure EHS protocols are met within HVAC service space, either smoke ventilation, M&E Building Services or facilities management
  • Manage internal workflows, documentation and reporting systems
  • Conduct team meetings, performance reviews and training initiatives
  • Able to commute to the office in Cardiff
Requirements
  • Experience as a Service Manager, Service Operations Manager, Field Service Manager, Engineering Manager, Service Leader, Service Support Manager, Service Centre Manager, Operations Support Manager, Technical Service Manager or similar within smoke ventilation, M&E Building Services or facilities management sectors
  • Experience managing Field Service Engineers and/or managing operations within engineering
  • Experience in service management within engineering and a deep understanding of engineering principles and service operations to lead the service department
  • Familiarity with M&E Building Services, facilities management or smoke ventilation sectors
  • Able to commute to the office in Cardiff
