Are you a Service Engineer / Product Support Technician looking to join a dynamic service team for a leading design and manufacturer of bespoke machinery? This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Engineer to work with cutting-edge technology, provide exceptional customer support, and become a technical expert for a world-leading brand.

Responsibilities
  • Installing, configuring, and commissioning labelling systems at customer sites across the UK.
  • Conducting advanced diagnostic fault-finding and carrying out effective on-site repairs.
  • Performing preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Delivering comprehensive hands-on training to customers on system operation and maintenance.
  • Preparing clear and detailed service reports with recommendations.
  • Collaborating with the internal team on spare parts and warranty processes.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality, health, and safety standards.

Essential Experience & Skills
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a field service, product support, or technical maintenance role.
  • A strong bias toward either mechanical or electrical engineering, with a solid basic understanding of both disciplines.
  • Proven experience in fault-finding on machinery; ideally within packaging, automation, labelling, or a similar industrial sector.
  • A relevant engineering qualification (e.g., HNC/HND, Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
