Role Overview

Otis is growing and is looking for a maintenance mechanic for one of our entities located in North London. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

On a typical day you will :

Carry out 100% of the lift and elevator maintenance and service across the defined area within London.

Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix.

Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation

Be the face of the business, working with customers to provide snapshot of work carried out and any advisories following the service visit.

You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.

What you will need to be successful.

  • Hold an NVQ level 3 or equivalent within lift service, maintenance or repair.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license.
  • You have at least 12 months of experience in the lift industry.
  • You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
  • You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority.
  • You are comfortable communicating to others.
  • You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team.
