A leading waste management company in Littlehampton is seeking a candidate to oversee Service Drivers and manage branch operations. Responsibilities include ensuring daily work schedules, assisting in data entry on the SAP system, and maintaining health and safety standards. The ideal candidate should be GCSE educated, have knowledge of Health & Safety guidelines, and possess good interpersonal skills. Represents the overall interests of the company in a specific business market area and assists the Supervisor Customer Service in the planning, administration, monitoring and optimizing the operational performance of the branch. Embraces the values of the Company. This role will be required to provide out of hours on call duties, on a rota basis as required.
Ensures that daily work schedules for SD's are prepared and distributed. Spends time in the field with the Service Drivers and implements roadside coaching development and security checks, two truck days per week. Ensures that Health & Safety standards are maintained and adhered to according to Shred-it policies and statutory requirements. Assists the Supervisor Customer Service in opening and closing of branch on a daily basis and ensures that support for the Service Drivers is provided. Helps resolve service problems as directed. Assists the Supervisor Customer Service in monthly meetings with Service Drivers and publishes the minutes. Assists the Supervisor Customer Service in customer data entry for new service orders on company SAP data system. Responsible for accurate and timely data entry on the company SAP system, processing paperwork to include but not limited to entry of manual services orders, mass service order printing and dissemination to Service Drivers, customer service queries i.e., next service date etc., routing of new clients into system as directed by the Supervisor Customer Service. Assists in Fleet Maintenance of all vehicles of the Branch, as directed.
in GCSE IOSH Managing Safety Educated to GCSE level or equivalent Certificate of Professional Competence is an advantage
