Qualifications

This Position Reports To Service Center Operations Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities

We are seeking a Service Coordinator to join our dynamic team at ABB’s Robotics. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination of onsite reactive, preventative and post-preventative engineering activities across the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with ABB’s and customer standards, policies, and procedures. Acting as the single point of contact during service execution, between engineers and the customer - this role champions customer satisfaction, resource optimization, and service excellence. The role requires a strong level of professionalism to exceed customer expectations in managing first time fix rates and dynamic scheduling ability.

This role is to join a team of experienced Service Coordinators to optimize allocation of Field Service Engineers and intervention delivery. Please note that the work model for the role is on-site, which means working at our Milton Keynes office 5 days per week.

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

  • Manage warranty cases end-to-end, including eligibility validation, replacement part orders, engineer visit coordination, and accurate case closure in ABB systems
  • Coordinate and oversee Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities, including initiating RCA requests, arranging product retrieval, handling logistics documentation, and tracking progress
  • Maintain proactive customer communication throughout RCA processes, providing updates on findings, timelines, and outcomes
  • Plan and support the implementation of Service Information (SI) updates, ensuring correct installation and timely completion of all SI-related documentation
  • Collaborate with back-office and field service teams to ensure smooth execution of service interventions at customer sites
  • Support Reactive Service Operations by logging service cases, preparing quotations, processing purchase orders, and coordinating engineer dispatch
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing following service completion, maintaining high operational and administrative quality standards
Qualifications For The Role
  • Experience in service coordination or operations, preferably in an industrial or technical services environment
  • Strong organizational, self-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional communications skills, which includes demonstrating high ownership of your tasks and having a positive ambassador mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Working knowledge of service agreements, safety standards, and compliance requirements
  • Computer literacy, proficiency in SAP, Salesforce and Excel
  • You hold a current and valid UK VISA/work permit
