Arnold Clark Group is recruiting a Service Advisor for our Shiremoor branch. You will deliver an outstanding experience to service and vehicle repair customers, guiding them from inquiry to completion.

The role suits someone with customer service experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for solving problems. You will work Monday to Friday 8am–5.30pm with some Saturday mornings on rotation, supporting a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is essential.
• Clear communication with customers and colleagues.
• Proficient with standard computer systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs efficiently.
• Liaise with workshop and bodyshop to progress work.
• Manage computer-based jobs, purchasing and invoicing processes.
• Inform customers of faults or repairs with clear recommendations.
• Maintain accurate customer records and service histories.
• Upsell aftersales products and services where appropriate.
• Keep the customer database updated at all times.
