Job summary

Arnold Clark in Birtley is recruiting a Service Advisor to deliver an exceptional experience for service and vehicle repair customers. You will be a warm, articulate communicator providing star-level treatment in a busy dealer environment.

Ideal candidates will have customer service experience, enjoy exceeding expectations and can build strong customer relationships while using IT systems. Full-time hours apply, with standard weekday shifts and alternate Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and delivering first-class service.
• Good IT literacy and ability to use IT systems effectively.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle all customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs efficiently.
• Liaise with the workshop and bodyshop to progress work through the system.
• Manage computer-based jobs, purchasing and invoice processes while protecting customer and company interest.
• Inform customers of faults or repairs and provide clear, accurate solutions.
• Treat dissatisfied customers with empathy and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate customer vehicle details and service histories.
• Upsell aftersales products and services where appropriate.
• Keep the customer database updated and accurate at all times.
