Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Stafford is recruiting a Service Advisor for our Motorstore. You will deliver a fantastic experience for service and vehicle repair customers, handling inquiries and coordinating with workshop teams.

We value articulate, warm communicators who can upsell where appropriate, maintain accurate customer records, and uphold high standards of service. Full-time hours Monday to Friday 8am–5.30pm with alternate Saturdays 8am–12pm and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with IT systems and applications.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy workshop environment.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle all customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs efficiently.
• Liaise with workshop and bodyshop to progress work.
• Manage computer-based jobs, purchasing and invoicing processes.
• Inform customers of faults/repairs and provide clear solutions.
• Support dissatisfied customers with empathy and problem-solving.
• Maintain accurate customer records and service histories.
• Upsell relevant aftersales products and services when appropriate.
