Job summary

Arnold Clark is recruiting a Service Advisor for our Shiremoor branch. You will deliver exceptional service to customers in both service and vehicle repair scenarios, ensuring a seamless experience from enquiry to job completion.

We value warm communication, reliability, and the ability to coordinate with workshops while upselling appropriate aftersales products. A full UK driving licence is required, with a full-time schedule Monday to Friday and Saturdays on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service roles.
• Comfort with IT systems and software used in service desks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Handle all customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs efficiently and professionally.
• Liaise with the workshop and bodyshop to progress work through the system.
• Manage computer-based jobs, purchasing and invoicing processes ensuring customer and company financial interests are protected.
• Inform customers of faults or repairs found and provide clear, accurate solutions.
• Treat dissatisfied customers with empathy and work to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate customer records such as vehicle details and service histories.
• Maintain knowledge of aftersales products and services and upsell where appropriate.
• Keep the customer database updated and accurate at all times.
