About The Role

We’re looking for a methodical and organised Service Administrator to support our management team at South Africa Lodge. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the home, helping everything run smoothly so our clinical team can focus on delivering exceptional care.

Our 99-bed home is made up of six specialised units, each providing exceptional, person-centred care for individuals with complex needs. It’s a lively and welcoming environment where no two days are the same, and every member of the team plays a key part in making it feel like home.

What You’ll Bring

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re organised, detail-focused and enjoy being that dependable go-to person who keeps things ticking along.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience producing data for management reports
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and IT systems
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Able to manage competing priorities and work independently or as part of a team
  • A strong eye for detail and a proactive approach
  • Experience in the healthcare sector (desirable)
Your Working Pattern
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
  • Flexibility required for occasional out-of-hours meetings (e.g., night staff), with time off in lieu provided
What You’ll Be Doing

No two days are quite the same, but your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing staff rotas to ensure appropriate cover
  • Preparing care files for new residents
  • Maintaining and archiving clinical records
  • Producing KPI and management reports
  • Ordering clinical supplies as required
  • Supporting HR with sickness meetings and supervision records
  • Liaising with external health professionals and internal teams
  • Providing minute-taking support during clinical reviews
  • General admin tasks such as filing, photocopying, and purchase orders
  • Always maintaining compliance with CQC standards
