We are seeking an SEO Lead to support the successful delivery of our website migration project. This role will focus on providing technical expertise as we migrate from a Legacy platform to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring that all technical elements, key page templates and associated functionality align with both business requirements and SEO best practices.

Working closely with project stakeholders, content editors and technical teams, the SEO Lead will be responsible for minimising risks associated with platform migrations such as loss of traffic, rankings, and revenue, while also setting a strong foundation for future organic growth.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical SEO leadership during the migration from a Legacy platform to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring alignment with business requirements and SEO best practices.
  • Minimise risks during migration, including loss of traffic, rankings, and revenue, and establish a foundation for future organic growth.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and content editors to implement SEO best practices.
  • Lead pre-launch auditing: identify issues, validate fixes, and ensure readiness for go-live.
  • Conduct performance benchmarking to assess pre- and post-migration metrics (e.g., page speed, rankings, traffic, Core Web Vitals).
  • Preserve SEO during platform transitions and support ongoing optimisation post-launch.
Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of Technical SEO, including crawlability, indexability, site architecture, canonicalization, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform knowledge, with experience managing SEO considerations within AEM environments.
  • Experience with pre-launch auditing and readiness checks for go-live.
  • Ability to benchmark and interpret performance metrics before and after migration.
  • Proven experience in website migrations, including risk mitigation and preserving SEO value during platform transitions.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with developers, designers, and content teams to implement SEO best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot post-launch issues quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills.
