Responsibilities
  • Lead the Client Asset Safety initiatives for the Global Clearing Platform and support the business with CASS/CAP/GAS expertise to achieve Platform strategy. The role will lead a strategic initiative to transform Pershing client asset safety oversight for the Outsourced Clearing products globally, at the same time as strengthening overall frameworks for the Clearing business in all jurisdictions and products.
  • Additionally, the role will specialize in Client Asset Safety processes and frameworks to lead reviews (Internal Audit, External Audit, Compliance Testing) in relation to in-scope legal entities that will strengthen the regulatory compliance footprint of the platform and ensure continued client asset safety standards.
  • Ability to analyze the application of Client Asset Safety rules to the Global Clearing business, including assessment of impacts for the introduction of new legal entities, products and process flows.
  • The role will continue to work on enhancements to Product Governance processes to streamline assessments, also uplifting the Management Information related to Product Governance. Experience in compliance, risk or operational governance is preferred, with demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability, and strong oral and written communication skills including providing technical advice.
