Job description

SNG (Sovereign Network Group) is one of the largest housing associations in England. We provide over 85,000 homes and invest in communities across the South, West and East of England, including London, as well as building thousands of new affordable homes every year.

We're looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our team in Wembley. You'll play a key role in delivering Treasury project work and supporting new liability management initiatives. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide treasury project support to the Head of Core Treasury and Treasury Director
  • Lead on derivatives, ensuring accurate accounting, valuations, and integration with the Treasury Management System (TMS)
  • Support month-end processes, covenant reporting, and preparation of management information
  • Take ownership of cashflow forecasting
  • Monitor the daily cash position of the group, execute transactions, and place surplus funds
  • Make informed investment decisions regarding deposit timing based on daily and monthly cashflow forecasts
  • Proactively manage cashflow to meet short-term requirements, collaborating with Accounts Payable and other teams to ensure accurate payment timing
  • Provide cover for managing the short-term debt portfolio
  • Arrange treasury and urgent payments. Maintain, coordinate and update bank mandates and payment releases
  • Set up and maintain templates on banking platforms and perform other banking activities
About you:

You'll bring strong treasury expertise and a proactive approach to managing complex financial processes. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience working in a treasury function
  • Highly advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manage and analyse large datasets
  • Knowledge of derivative accounting under FRS102
  • Hands‑on experience with Treasury Management Systems, ideally FIS Integrity
  • Strong numerical ability and exceptional attention to detail
