A leading global assurance provider is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead quality engineering across various digital products. The role involves defining and implementing testing strategies, performing manual and automation testing, and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure high-quality delivery. Candidates should possess expertise in testing principles and have experience in agile environments, along with familiarity with tools like Cypress and Playwright. Strong communication skills and a background in digital technology are essential.
Location: Birmingham / 1 Trinity Park, Bi. Position Category: Information Technology. Position Type: Employee Regular.
We’re looking for a Senior Test Engineer to lead quality engineering across LRQA’s Cyber Digital products. Embedding quality early, automating intelligently, and assuring every release meets the highest standards of reliability and security.
You’ll be responsible for defining and implementing the QA approach across multiple workstreams including the Cyber Portal, SOC automation, Attack Surface Management, and AI-enabled reporting tools. Working as part of a cross‑functional agile team, you’ll ensure that every feature released meets high standards of functionality, reliability, and security.
This is a hands‑on role combining test strategy, leadership, and execution. You’ll work closely with developers, product owners, and architects to build quality into the process – not just test it at the end. You’ll lead manual and exploratory testing while introducing automation where it adds real value. The goal: predictable, secure, and high‑quality delivery across every cyber product we release.
