We are looking for Senior Field Technicians to join our Digital team in Welshpool, WA. This role is critical in supporting geophysical products deployed across Australia and internationally, primarily within the mining industry. You will operate advanced geophysical tools to capture high-quality subsurface geological data, enabling informed decisions on drilling, production, reservoir and well management, orebody mapping, resource estimation, extraction strategies, and cost control.

As the primary point of contact for clients during field operations, you will ensure efficient service delivery, maintain rigorous data quality standards, and drive customer satisfaction.

The roster is Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.

  • Equipment Preparation & Calibration: Prepare, calibrate, and verify geophysical products for deployment.
  • Operational Deployment: Operate geophysical tools in the field, ensuring accurate data collection and optimal equipment performance.
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Resolve technical issues promptly and collaborate with client teams for complex repairs.
  • Client Training & Support: Deliver hands‑on training and provide ongoing technical assistance.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Perform QA/QC checks to maintain data integrity.
  • Customer Engagement: Communicate operational status and outcomes professionally.
  • Leadership: Communicate effectively and provide coaching to site technicians and operators; oversee task coordination and ensure timely preventive maintenance.
  • Safety & Compliance: Drive SHE&S protocols and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work with internal teams to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Proven experience with wireline tools and equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in data acquisition and interpretation from wireline tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft platforms (intermediate level).
