A fast-growing insurance provider in Greater London is seeking a Risk Pricing Analyst to enhance its pricing capability. The role involves building risk pricing models, conducting data extraction and rate impact analysis, and supporting ongoing monitoring. The ideal candidate will have essential personal lines risk pricing experience, strong SQL skills, and be comfortable communicating across teams. Qualifications

  • Personal Lines risk pricing experience is essential.
  • Strong SQL and SAS capability required.
  • Experience with Akur8, Emblem, Radar or similar pricing tools is highly beneficial.

I’m supporting a fast-growing, tech-led insurance provider that is continuing to invest in its technical pricing capability. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys working close to the data, influencing pricing decisions, and operating in a modern, analytics-driven environment.



Key Responsibilities


  • Building and refining risk pricing models across the Home portfolio

  • Data extraction, modelling and rate impact analysis

  • Supporting pre-deployment analysis and ongoing rate monitoring

  • Working closely with retail pricing, underwriting, data science and product teams

  • Helping shape and improve pricing processes and controls

  • Opportunity to mentor junior analysts as the team grows



Qualifications


  • Personal Lines risk pricing experience (essential)

  • Strong SQL / SAS capability

  • Experience with Akur8, Emblem, Radar or similar pricing tools (highly beneficial)

  • Exposure to R / Python and machine learning is advantageous

  • Confident communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally
