Senior Technical Delivery Business Analyst - TSG Delivery Intro

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our TSG Delivery Team as a Senior Technical Delivery Business Analyst based in Darlington. (This is a hybrid role and candidates who live outside of Darlington will be considered).

Railpen is responsible for the safekeeping and investment of around £34 billion in assets and the administration of several pension schemes, including the Railways Pension Scheme, one of the UK's largest and longest established pension funds.

The role

As a Senior Technical Delivery Business Analyst, you will facilitate the successful delivery of technical projects at Railpen. Your primary focus will be to translate high-level business requirements into technical requirements and specifications through detailed analysis utilising strong technical knowledge to enable solution design and delivery. Projects will include software development, infrastructure, security, business change technical workstreams and more.

This role requires you to work independently on large-scale projects or multiple smaller projects concurrently. In addition, as a senior in the team, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring junior members of the team, as well as promoting continuous improvement within the team and on wider delivery at Railpen.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

The person

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related field or equivalent qualification or industry experience. You will also have experience in delivering technical projects, as well as significant experience as a Business Analyst.
