Job summary

A leading care organization in Preston is seeking a passionate Senior Team Leader. In this role, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team while providing support to children and young people with complex needs. To succeed, you should have NVQ Level 3/4 in Children & Young People and experience in residential childcare. Qualifications

  • Confidence supervising or leading a team.

At Northridge Care Group, we’re all about giving children and young people with complex needs the care, support, and stability they deserve. And right now, we’re on the lookout for a passionate, hands-on Senior Team Leader who’s excited about helping both staff and young people thrive.

Salary: up to £38,000 per annum

Hours: average 39.2 per week

Shift pattern: 5 week rolling rota: 2 days on, 3 days off, including sleep ins.

Annual Leave: increases each year up to 5 years.

What you\'ll be doing
  • Leading and inspiring a dedicated care team
  • Being the go-to role model, mentor, and support for staff
  • Championing young people as a key worker, listening to them, safeguarding them, helping them reach their potential
  • Getting stuck into care planning, audits and everything that keeps us Ofsted-sharp
  • Creating a safe, structured, nurturing home where young people can grow and succeed
  • Deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager
What we\'re looking for
  • NVQ Level 3/4 in Children & Young People (or equivalent/working towards)
  • Experience in residential childcare, especially with emotional and behavioural needs
  • Confidence supervising or leading a team
  • Plenty of resilience, empathy, and passion for empowering young people
