Senior Tax Manager

Reed Crawley are working with a well-established practice who are looking to add a personal tax specialist to join a friendly and lively practice. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress their career in taxation, offering a supportive environment and the chance to handle a diverse and interesting client portfolio.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, focusing on personal tax matters including compliance and tax planning.
  • Prepare complex self-assessment and partnership tax returns.
  • Review tax returns prepared by other team members.
  • Handle the preparation and review of Trust and Estate accounts and associated tax returns.
  • Prepare 60-day CGT returns and assist with tax planning by reviewing clients’ circumstances.
  • Engage with potential new clients to help grow the client base.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CTA qualification preferred, but candidates with other tax or accounting qualifications or those qualified by experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong telephone manner.
  • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team.
