A leading construction firm in the UK is seeking two Senior Supervisors for their Rail Surfacing team. The role entails overseeing track machine teams and a mix of office and field work. Candidates should have over 5 years of supervisory experience in rail or construction, strong safety awareness, and excellent communication skills. Due to a consistent forward work bank, we are looking for two Senior Supervisors to join our WA Rail Surfacing team. These roles will primarily be based in Southern WA with an anticipated 50/50 split between office-based tasks and field leadership presence.
Each Senior Supervisor will be engaged on a roster of 14 days on, 7 days off overseeing two track machine teams working on the same roster pattern. A further two teams will be managed by your counterpart on an offset roster pattern allowing for appropriate coverage during R&R periods. Night shift may be required on an ad-hoc basis for certain work scopes and shutdown operations.
The role will primarily work across the South-West regional rail network as well as some time supporting teams on the Perth urban passenger network and in the Pilbara when resurfacing works are required.
