Senior Structural Technician
Bath - Commutable from Bristol
£40,000 - £50,000 DOE + Hybrid Working + Major UK Projects + National Consultancy + Progression & Development
The Role:
We are recruiting for a Senior Structural Technician to join a leading national consultancy with a strong track record of delivering major projects across the UK and internationally. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile, complex schemes while working within a supportive multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage Revit models, progressing through to detailed drawings from engineers' sketches.
- Take ownership of model and drawing deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Deliver production work to agreed project programmes.
- Develop concept ideas into practical, buildable drawing details.
- Maintain quality standards across all model and drawing outputs.
- Contribute to project success through proactive learning and career development.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in a similar role within structural or building design.
- Strong interest in architecture, building design, and structural engineering.
- GCSEs and A-Levels in Maths and Science (or equivalent).
- Interest or skills in technical drawing; knowledge of Grasshopper or Dynamo would be advantageous.
- Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
