Location: Cardiff. Role: Senior Structural Engineer. Salary: £40,000 £55,000+ (negotiable based on level experience).

A dynamic and forward-thinking engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Cardiff. Known for delivering innovative solutions across various sectors, this consultancy offers an opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects while mentoring junior team members and supporting leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of structural engineering projects across multiple sectors
  • Manage resources and contribute to project programming
  • Apply knowledge of CDM regulations, technical standards, and best practice
  • Produce analysis, design work, and clear technical reports
  • Represent the consultancy at client and project meetings
  • Mentor and support junior engineers
  • Contribute to business growth through quality delivery and client service
What You ll Need
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience
  • MEng, BEng, BSc, HNC, or HND in Engineering (chartered or working towards with IStructE or ICE)
  • Strong skills in Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, AutoCAD, and ideally REVIT
  • Competent user of MS Office and structural analysis software
  • Experience managing projects, with good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong professional relationships
