• Experience in Street Cleansing or Waste management is beneficial but not essential for the role.
• A driving licence is essential.

• Predominantly work within the fly tip team, removing waste and assisting with scheduled cleanse routes.
• Operate maintenance machinery after training to deliver services.
• Work directly in the community on sites across Doncaster, contributing to clean public spaces.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our Street Scene team working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday with the hours between 0730hrs and 1530hrs.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and cleaning tasks across Doncaster; tasks include litter removal, bin emptying, fly tip clearance, road sweeping and weed removal works.
• Predominantly work within the fly tip team, removing fly tipped waste and assisting with the scheduled cleanse routes.
• Operate and use maintenance machinery after training to deliver services.
• Work directly in the community on sites across Doncaster, contributing to clean and safe public spaces.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Positive attitude, works well in a team, and is committed to delivering an excellent service every day.
• Experience in Street Cleansing or Waste management is beneficial but not essential for the role of Senior Street Cleansing Technician.
• A driving licence is essential.
