A leading utility company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects exceeding $100M. The role involves managing project teams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and providing comprehensive project oversight. Candidates must possess a strong background in project management with at least 8 years of experience and ideally hold a PMP certification. This position may require significant travel and offers a dynamic work environment.
This position supports and manages projects and portfolios in excess of $100M. Works with Supervisor/Contractors/Project Team to manage the development and delivery of projects to which he/she is assigned and focuses on the achievement of project cost and schedule objectives while achieving excellence in the areas of project safety, quality, and risk management. Works directly with Project Controls team to ensure process alignment and proper project controls are implemented. Works with Finance group to ensure costs are managed, change control is established and controlled, and that contingency is properly controlled. Accountable for monitoring and coordinating site based construction activities including those performed by contractors, vendors and employees. Provides direct management and support to project team members throughout the project lifecycle. Works closely with Business Unit contractor representatives to achieve project objectives. Ensures compliance with approved policies and procedures.
