A leading energy firm is seeking a Senior Staff Project Engineer to enhance power generation projects. You will ensure the reliability and sustainability of engineering designs while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Selected candidates placed as Project Engineer, Sr Lead or Project Engineer Sr Staff based on education, experience, and demonstrated success at the engineering level. Entergy is looking for a talented, experienced, and innovative Project Engineer to be part of the Power Development engineering team that will drive innovation and technological advancements to enhance the reliability, affordability, and sustainability of new power generation projects. This position collaborates with key stakeholders to develop and maintain the company’s standards in engineering design for new generation plants (gas and renewables), energy storage projects, and other zero or low carbon technologies. The Project Engineer ensures that engineering products are complete, accurate and constructible for all elements of a project’s scope, promotes a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, implementation of best practices, and application of lessons learned. They coordinate efforts of cross‑functional teams and build effective relationships with key internal/external stakeholders, including contractors, and work directly with multiple Project Managers and Project Controls staff as a technical resource during the development phase.
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Advanced degree preferred).
Experience:
Professional Engineer license and PMP certification.
