Overview

Sanctuary Personnel is looking for an experienced Senior Staff Nurse to work in Arnold on a full-time basis. Salary for this permanent position is £37,992 - £40,455 per annum.

About our Client

• You will be joining an inpatient acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) for males and females with a wide range of mental health conditions.
• £5,000 Sign-On Bonus: Receive a £5,000 bonus or an e-voucher code for our client’s Benefits portal.
• Back Pay for Salary Increase: Back pay for any salary increases while awaiting PIN registration.
• Relocation Assistance: Lump sum relocation support (up to £1,500 for moves under 100 miles, up to £3,000 for moves over 100 miles). Amounts must be repaid if probation is not completed.

Main Duties

• Team Supervision and Development: Oversee a designated group of team members, support their CPD, mandatory training, and performance appraisals, while addressing the skills needed within the team.
• Care Plan Management: Monitor and review nursing care plans to meet patient needs effectively.
• Patient Condition Evaluation: Assess and respond to changes in patients’ conditions and needs, adjusting care as required.
• High-Quality Care Delivery: Provide exceptional care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorders.
• Therapeutic Relationship Building: Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement and outcomes.
• Care Planning and Monitoring: Participate in patient assessments, develop personalised care plans, and track patient progress.
• Leadership and Mentorship: In senior roles, lead shifts, mentor student nurses, and support other team members to foster a collaborative and effective care environment.
