  • Run the kitchen and manage service in the Executive Head Chef's absence.

The Position

Owing to our existing Senior Sous Chef moving on to step into his first Head Chef after 11 years with us, we have this exciting new opportunity available to start January 2026.

Joining our team of talented chefs, our Senior Sous Chef will support the Executive Head Chef by taking an active 2nd in charge position within the kitchen.

You will inspire fresh ideas, collaborate to devise new menus, and play an active role in mentoring & training the team. You will be responsible for running the kitchen and managing service in the absence of the Executive Head Chef, keeping everything running smoothly.

About You

You will have:

  • Experience of working at 2 or 3 AA Rosette level.
  • Passion and creative flair, with extensive culinary knowledge.
  • Be working at Sous Chef level or be ready for the next step in your career.
  • Strong team focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, in-control and focused during busy service.
  • A positive role‑model embodying our values of mutual respect and professionalism within the kitchen.
  • Ideally with experience within a 4- or 5-star hotel property.
  • Food & Hygiene Certificate required (valid within last 3 years).
