What hours will you be working?

What you’ll be doing as Senior Sous Chef?

Here at Hydes, food quality and looking after our people is key. As our Senior Sous Chef, you will be the second in command and enjoy delivering excellent food standards, always working with quality fresh ingredients to deliver our seasonal menus and daily specials, in a friendly and supportive environment. Supporting your head chef to lead and mentor your brigade, you will also be passionate about their training and continued development. You will have previous experience, preferably in a fresh food environment. You may also be a Sous Chef who is looking to progress.

You will also;
  • Maintain health and safety processes and a 5‑star rating
  • Achieve GP targets for the site, as well as helping to manage stock and labour costs

With all the character of a great pub, the Joshua Bradley has been created within a beautifully restored mansion house and provides the very best of food and drink. Guests can join us for a refreshing drink, a casual snack, a little celebration or that special night out. We are proud to serve an extensive fresh food menu as well as a great selection of high‑quality cask ales offering a wide range of styles and flavours. The Joshua Bradley & Bluebell Suite is also the perfect venue for weddings and family occasions. We've got a huge beer garden with our Beer Barn outdoor bar alongside a children's play area.
