The Role

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join a mission-driven team dedicated to transforming the Healthcare & Life Sciences industry. In this role, you will help healthcare and life sciences organisations use Data and AI to improve patient outcomes, accelerate drug discovery, and modernise care.

You will work as a trusted advisor to our customers, helping them solve complex data, AI and Agentic AI challenges. You will also play a key role in our internal community, sharing your knowledge and mentoring team members to help them achieve success.

What you will do
  • Partner with Account Executives to co-create engagement strategies for our largest Healthcare & Life Sciences customers, aligning data, AI solutions to meaningful business & patient outcomes.
  • Guide customer executives (business & technical) on how to adopt the Databricks Lakehouse platform, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, from data engineers to C-level executives, to design solutions that work for their specific needs.
  • Coach and mentor a team of solution architects, helping them navigate technical challenges and grow their careers.
  • Connect with the wider technical community by leading workshops, meetups & external presentations.

  • Communication Skills: You enjoy explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences in a way that is easy to understand and builds trust.
  • Data Experience: A background in Data Science, Machine Learning or Data Engineering.

Architecture Experience: A background in architecting & delivering complex proofs‑of‑concept, and experience bringing together a cross‑functional team to achieve long‑term outcomes.

  • Curiosity: Proficiency in a core language (Python, PySpark, or SQL) and a willingness to learn Apache Spark™ and the Databricks Platform.
  • Cloud Familiarity: Experience exploring or building solutions on public clouds (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

The role involves regular travel to customer sites (including U.S., India, and Europe), typically up to 30% of your time.
