Senior Site Manager - £50m Industrial Build in Birmingham

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Car, Bonus & Package

Ready to step up and run a major project from the ground up? We're looking for a Senior Site Manager to take the reins on a massive £50m industrial new-build in Birmingham. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to make your mark on a landmark project for one of the UK's leading main contractors.

The Company

Our client isn't a small-timer. They're a £500m turnover national powerhouse known for delivering huge residential and industrial projects-up to £200m in value. They have a reputation for quality, safety, and investing in their people. This is a business with a full order book and serious ambition, so you'll be part of a team that's going places.

The Role

You'll be the person on the ground, the eyes and ears of the project. Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of this complex, multi-million-pound build. Your mission? To ensure everything runs like clockwork.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the site: Direct and manage all site operations, from materials and plant to the entire workforce.

  • Driving the program: Make sure the project hits its milestones and stays on schedule.

  • Managing the team: Supervise and motivate a large team of subcontractors and direct labour.

  • Enforcing safety: Be the champion of health and safety, making sure every person on site goes home safe.

  • Upholding quality: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, every time.

  • Problem-solving: Anticipate issues and tackle them head-on, keeping things moving forward.

Your Experience

You're a seasoned Senior Site Manager with a proven track record of running large industrial or commercial projects, ideally in the £20m+ range. You've got the SMSTS and CSCS Black Card, along with a rock-solid understanding of site operations. Most importantly, you have the leadership skills to command respect and get the best out of your team.
