We are currently recruiting for a band 7 Senior sister/Charge Nurse to join our dynamic and friendly Paediatric Critical Care team at the Royal London Hospital, to provide high quality and professional care for children and their families. We are a tertiary referral centre accepting admissions from north east London and further afield to support the increasing demand for Paediatric critical care. Our unit consists of 10 beds and we look after a mix of intensive care and highly dependent babies, children and young people. As a major trauma centre, we play a vital role in caring for all children 0-16 years. We deal daily with emergency and elective surgical admissions so can provide a varied experience for you. We pride ourselves on being a caring, compassionate and friendly unit delivering high quality care.
The Postholder will lead by example as an expert specialist nurse and provide expert clinical, organisational and professional leadership to the nursing team. As an expert practitioner in Paediatric Intensive Care, the post holder will be responsible for setting and maintaining a high standard of nursing care to children and their families at Unit level, setting and delivering high standards of clinical care.
