Location: Central London – Hybrid

Join a prestigious, family-run financial organisation embarking on a large-scale digital transformation. With around 500 employees, you’ll have excellent exposure across the business while making a significant impact. The organisation has recently completed an enterprise-wide migration from on-premise to Azure Cloud.

As Senior Security Engineer, you’ll be the third hire in a growing security team. This is a broad role covering all aspects of Cyber and Information Security, including supporting projects that require security input (design and concept) and helping mature the organisation’s security posture. Your remit will span areas such as:

  • Security strategy and roadmap
  • Security architecture and design
  • Incident response and management
  • SOC operations
  • Compliance and vulnerability management
  • Identity and access management
  • Network security and DLP

You don’t need experience in all areas, but you’ll be instrumental in driving the business towards a cloud-first, zero-trust model, taking stakeholders on the journey.

Experience Required
  • Broad experience as a Cyber Security Generalist, covering multiple domains
  • Ability to implement best practice and security principles
  • Strong technical knowledge across Azure security technologies (e.g., Defender)
  • Background in customer-facing IT support roles, with experience handling escalations and troubleshooting
  • Relevant industry certifications
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills
