Senior Science Technician (Temp to Perm) Battersea
Position: Senior Science Technician
Location: Battersea, London
Contract: Temp to Permanent

Start date: Immediate start
Pay Rate: £110 £130 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Science Technician to join a thriving secondary school in Battersea. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for a skilled technician who can support the science department in delivering outstanding practical learning.

Responsibilities
  • Support the science department in delivering practical learning to a high standard.
  • Manage and maintain laboratory equipment; order resources.
  • Prepare experiments and assist teachers in practical activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years experience working as a Science Technician (ideally within a school setting).
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, health and safety, and COSHH regulations.
  • Ability to manage and maintain lab equipment, order resources, and support teachers in preparing experiments.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious approach.
