Overview

Senior Science Technician position in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

The school is ideally seeking a Senior Science Technician with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a UK Secondary School setting supporting KS3 - KS5 Science classes.

This position will be full time and permanent, on a Term Time Only (39 weeks) contract. Working hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).

If appointed, duties will include but are not limited to:

• Working alongside Science Teachers to plan and carry out practical lessons
• Training other Science Technicians to ensure they are following correct safety procedures
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records of lab equipment

The salary for this position will be between £35,200 and £37,423, subject to pro rata, depending on qualifications and experience of each applicant.

An Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Free School & Sixth Form, located in the London Borough of Wandsworth.

Having opened in 2012 the school is now fully subscribed with 800 places for pupils aged 11 to 18 years old.

The school is built on the landmark site of a former hospital and continues its tradition of service to the local community. The building can operate as a doctors' surgery for local families. Requirements
