Overview

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defence industry. We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Manager.

This role is remote but requires travel to Collins and client sites in the UK and overseas.

What you will do
  • Establish strategy to drive implementation of initiatives, financial growth opportunities and business development efforts.
  • Manage network of relationships with key current and potential customers to achieve shared goals and lead customer relationship management.
  • Consult with the executive leadership team to drive strategy and partnership decisions.
  • Guide coordination with marketing, sales and technology groups to implement business development strategy.
  • Monitor and evaluate external environment for financial growth opportunities; guide planning and preparation of complex business proposals and make recommendations to senior management for strategic decision making.
  • Customer strategy, customer satisfaction and customer escalation (1st point).
  • Demand forecasting, customer stocking, maintenance planning and fleet dynamics.
  • Forecast accuracy and top‑line growth.
Experience & Qualifications we prefer
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role at a senior level.
  • Aerospace industry experience preferred.
  • Account Management and Contract development experience; must be able to demonstrate knowledge of company’s customer base, their needs and requirements; aerospace industry is preferred.
  • Technical background highly desirable.
  • A STEM Degree desirable.
  • Proven people leadership in a matrix organisation essential.
  • Solid understanding of interiors products and service offerings in aerospace desirable.
