Senior Sales Manager - Commercial Fitness (South Region)

Location: South of England (Field-Based)

Salary: £45k base + £21k OTE (yr 1) + Car Allowance

Hire Grade is partnering with a leading global manufacturer in the commercial fitness sector to recruit a dynamic Senior Sales Manager for their South UK region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation that is known for innovation, quality and its strong presence across the UK and Europe.

About the Role

As Senior Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the South Territory, driving both new business development and strategic account management. You’ll be responsible for delivering against revenue targets, building strong relationships and representing a premium fitness brand within a highly competitive market.

This is a field-based role requiring regular UK travel. Candidates must be based in the South of England.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets through new business development and growth of existing accounts
  • Develop and execute an annual territory sales strategy in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Deliver accurate weekly, monthly and annual forecasting using CRM tools
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the full product portfolio
  • Provide on-site product demonstrations and training to customers
  • Attend trade shows across the UK and Europe as a brand ambassador
  • Support customer installations and ensure a smooth end-to-end service
  • Work closely with Sales Support and wider commercial teams to maximise efficiency and results
What We're Looking For
  • Proven track record selling commercial fitness equipment
  • Based in South UK
  • Strong network and knowledge of the UK fitness industry
  • Confident in presenting, pitching and building long-term business relationships
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent organisational skills
  • Strategic thinker who is also hands‑on, creative and solutions‑driven
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Competent with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Degree in Sports Science or similar is beneficial but not essential
  • Must reside within the South of England
