A leading clinical services provider is seeking a Senior RGN/Adult Nurse with neuro experience to support individuals with Acquired Brain Injury and other conditions. This role involves delivering training, conducting assessments, and working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care. Offering a salary of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum along with a hybrid working model and various benefits including ongoing training and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a full clean driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Substantial experience in Acquired Brain Injury services is required.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and medication.

Job Title: Senior RGN/Adult Nurse - Neuro experience

Reporting to: National Lead for ABI

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (negotiable)

Location: Home based with National Travel

Job Purpose

Working as part of Keys Group Adult Clinical Services to provide direct and indirect specialist clinical advice and to design, develop, review, and deliver a range of clinical training packages, including practical skills, to colleagues working in our Supported Living and Residential services across England and Wales. Our services provide support for Adults with an Acquired Brain Injury, Mental Health condition, Learning Disabilities and Autism.

Job Purpose

  • Work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist advice, guidance, and training.
  • Develop and support health promotion initiatives, recognising the impact of health inequalities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to ensure safe, joined-up care and effective risk management.
  • Design and deliver bespoke clinical training packages, online and in person.
  • Undertake physical healthcare assessments and interventions using evidence-based adult nursing practice.
  • Deliver care in line with NICE guidelines and regulatory requirements (CQC/CIW).
  • Contribute to medication improvement initiatives and groups.
  • Provide early clinical advice at pre-admission meetings and work closely with the referrals team.
  • Contribute to complex case panels, external MDTs, and relevant meetings.
  • Work in partnership with safeguarding teams and follow Keys Group safeguarding policies.
  • Provide person-centred, trauma-informed care.
  • Communicate respectfully, compassionately, and effectively with service users, families, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and uphold safe, effective, responsive, and caring practice.
  • Ensure robust risk management and report all accidents and incidents.
  • Provide clinical training, consultation, and advice to care teams and professionals.
  • Support, guide, and supervise students and trainees.
  • Contribute to service delivery, development meetings, and agreed project work.
  • Advise management on physical healthcare needs and support service improvement.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with Local Authorities, NHS services, and partner agencies.
  • Apply evidence-based practice through ongoing review of current research.
  • Support service evaluation and coordinate agreed outcome measures.
  • Initiate and support research activity with agreement from the National Clinical Director.
  • Participate in regular management, clinical supervision, and annual appraisal.
  • Work in line with professional codes, Keys Group policies, and EPIC values.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and complete required data collection.
  • Take reasonable care for personal and others' health and safety.
  • Undertake reasonable travel, including overnight stays, and additional duties as agreed.
  • Maintain continuous professional development and attend relevant training and meetings.
  • Respect confidentiality in all aspects of work.

About you

  • Essential: NMC Registered Nurse - Adults
  • Essential: Must have substantial experience in Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) services.
  • Essential: Knowledge of:Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults, Risk Management, social care workforce, Medication and potential side effects.
  • Essential: Full clean driving license and access to my own car.
